Paramore, Paramore, PARAMORE!!!
Anxiously waiting, not knowing 100% if we would receive Paramore's debut album "All We Know Is Falling" in the mail from Fueled By Ramen Records we were on a mission in Southern, Ontario, Canada to find their album in our local CD stores but we failed miserably, not one store was selling Paramore's album! Lucky the same day we checked our mailbox and there it was!
If you haven't heard of the female fronted band Paramore from Franklin, Tennessee you are missing out huge on Hayley Williams astonishing vocals and her bands powerful melodies and guitar hooks. Encouraged by guitarist Josh Farro, drummer Zac Farro, and Jason Bynum rhythm guitar, Hayley started to raise her voice immediately showing her talent that she's been blessed with to prove she really could sing. They preformed at their school talent shows and began playing rock venues in and around Franklin. The success from those shows gave the band the attention they were looking for which led to many record labels wanting to sign them.
Paramore decided to sign with Fueled By Ramen knowing they would understand the bands wants and needs and the required success the band wanted for their debut album. After only seeing Paramore live once Fueled By Ramen's founder John Janick knew he had to sign the band. "I seldom find a band that I feel compelled to work with after just one encounter" John says. "I knew that I had to put out the Paramore record after I met the band. Their talent, sincerity and dedication exceed that of many bands." -paramore.net
It just proves how Paramore are an instant grabber for new fans after one listen and continues to offer to their current fans. You will find songs about their bass player leaving two weeks into the writing process for the record (All We Know), band members personal relationships (Here We Go Again, Brighter), and being away from home (Franklin) on the 10 track album recorded in Orlando, Florida.
The album is one of those CDs where you know before the song ends what the next song is going to be. If it's the beat or the next riff, you just know what the next song is going to be on this album, which is an accomplishment for any band knowing you've created a great album!
"I Think We Have An Emergency!" There is absolutely nothing wrong with this album, it's amazing and it gets better every time you listen to it. You get a better understanding of the band, what they have experienced, what they currently are experiencing as well as the gift of listening to amazing tunes. There is no doubt about it that Paramore is going to be one of the largest female fronted bands out there in the next year or two. punkrockchickbands.com is a HUGE fan of Paramore and want to help support them through their career!
If you missed Paramore on the Shiragirl Stage at Warped Tour this past summer you should check out when they are playing in a city near you this fall or in 2006 since you are going to want to experience this band for yourself.
